Dr. Hawkes completed a Smith Postdoctoral Fellowship at UC Berkeley and a NSF Postdoctoral Fellowship in Microbial Biology at the University of York (UK). Her training is in plant-microbe interactions, community ecology, and ecosystem ecology. Learn more at the Hawkes Lab website.
