Cancelled Travel Authorizations
Travel Authorizations (TAs) should only be cancelled if the trip itself was cancelled for the traveler listed on the TA. If travel occurred and no reimbursement is expected, mark the TA as completed in the system to stop reminder emails for submitting a Travel Reimbursement (TR).
If a fully approved TA was cancelled but a reimbursement is needed, include the original TA number in the comments section of your TR. This allows the University Travel Team to reference the TA during their review. If a TA was pending when cancelled, it cannot be used for reimbursement because the pre-approved expenditures are not fully connected in the system.
