Service Center Rates & Federal Sources

As a reminder, in order to charge a federal sponsor either through a sponsored program or non-grant transaction, e.g., external billing, a university-approved Service Center Rate must be established for that rate. This does apply for federal funding flown through another organization, e.g., Prime Institution issuing a subaward to NCSU, but does not apply for non-federal sponsors, e.g., State Agencies, Industry Partners, Private Organizations, etc.
