Federally Funded Research Update

The university has provided updated guidance on the 2025 Federal Transition, which you can find here: NC State Research Resource Page. (Last updated: Jan. 30, 2025.) If you or your PI receive communication from your Sponsor related to your program (e.g., stop work order), please forward that communication to Holly Lipkovich, CALS Director of Research Admin, and Dr. Steven Lommel, Assistant Dean for Research & Director of NCARS.

In regards to proposals, if you are planning to submit a proposal to an upcoming funding opportunity, but the RFA is “under review” by the applicable federal agency, please proceed with initiating the PINS record and indicating the RFA is “under review”. This will allow CALS Pre-Award to be made aware of the proposal and initial discussions to occur on the proposal.
