We are excited that you have come here to learn more about this online course.

In this course, you will learn some basic concepts for maintaining safety and quality of your food products. Our instructional materials come from a wide range of courses and cover many different topics. This material has been carefully curated to benefit you. For example, some material is geared specifically to artisan cheesemakers; however, the instruction has been selected to apply to multiple food industries.

As you acquaint yourself with the course structure, you will see that it is broken into several sections or “lessons” that consist of learning objectives which tell you what you will learn and a lesson module with content and questions. They are sequenced in the recommended order. You must complete the first 4 by XX/XX/XXXX and the rest by XX/XX/XX.

How Long Will This Take?
This research project will take 6 hours over a span of 18 weeks; however, your involvement will be concentrated in the first 3 weeks. Several lucky participants will receive “booster” activities during weeks 4, 5, and 6. Please plan for 20 minutes per lesson, however, you may finish the lesson much sooner, depending upon the content you receive.

Every research participant will be contacted in weeks 6 and 18 to complete an assessment similar to the pre-assessment you already completed. This will take you approximately 20 minutes to complete. Your successful completion of the program is not based on any scores, but you must complete all assessments and surveys to receive a certificate of completion and gift card.

What’s In It for Me?
At the completion of this course, you will be well-acquainted with the regulations set forth in the federal regulations for food manufacturing 21 CFR 117.  You will be able to assess your production facility and determine which practices you need to shore up.
A GMPs course typically costs between $100-300 dollars and usually takes many hours to complete. Taking part in this project will give you the training for free!

In addition, you will be awarded with a certificate of completion that documents your achievement and boosts your resume!
