Dairy Sanitation Workshop with Industry Partners
NC State University Extension is partnering with Diversey, DFA Foods, and REMCO to present a hands-on workshop designed to provide the essentials of cleaning and sanitation in food processing facilities. Take part in activities that support the topics covered and earn a Certificate of Completion at the end of event.
Topics include:
- Federal regulations pertaining to sanitation and
environmental monitoring - Demonstrations on proper use of sanitizers and
detergents - Sanitation verification methods including ATP and
microbial analyses - Development of Sanitation Standard Operating
Procedures (SSOPs) - Process of developing an environmental monitoring plan, including identifying sampling zones, implementing a sampling plan, and corrective actions
- Consultations with instructors in developing and
implementing your facilities sanitation program
