Reminder: Deactivate Unused PCards

Please remember to deactivate PCards when a cardholder leaves the university, changes position, or when the card is no longer in use. While cards that remain unused for 12 consecutive months are automatically inactivated, we encourage proactive deactivation whenever a card is no longer in use. This helps maintain compliance and supports the security of the PCard program.

Infrequently used PCards are more susceptible to fraudulent activity. Keeping only active, necessary cards helps reduce risk and strengthen overall program security.
