Updated Mileage Rate

Please review the following updates to ensure accurate reimbursement and compliance with the updated Travel Manual.

Updated Mileage Rate Effective January 1, 2026

  • The IRS mileage reimbursement rate increased to $0.725 per mile. This update has been applied in both the travel system and the Travel Manual.
  • Important: If travel spans two calendar years, enter mileage on separate lines to apply the correct rate for each year. Contact the CBO Travel Team for any questions or assistance.
