Request for Waiver of Competitive Bidding for Non-MarketPlace Requisitions

The documentation needed for non-MarketPlace requisitions between $5,000 and $29,000 has been updated. Campus departments will continue to submit non-MarketPlace requisitions for purchases of goods and services between $5,000 and $29,000 to Procurement Services as a waiver to competitive bidding; however the Waiver of Competitive Bid Memo is no longer needed.

Please remember that a valid supplier quote is still required. Per the North Carolina Procurement Manual issued by the NC Purchase & Contract, a supplier quote should contain the vendor logo, contact information, item or service description, quoted prices, delivery terms, F.O.B. point, and date of quote.
