Summer Salary Training

Applicable CALS individuals will be receiving an email from REPORTER within the next week or so to register them for the annual Summer Salary Training. The email will include the information below and the training due date: 

The Office of Contracts and Grants, in partnership with Human Resources and the Office of Research and Innovation, has launched the annual Summer Salary Training course. As a reminder from previous years, any processors, approvers, or recipients of Summer Salary for 2025 are required to complete the annual training. The training hold will automatically prevent the processing of summer actions if the processor, approver, or faculty member has not completed summer salary training.

In coordination with your College Research Office, REPORTER has been pre-populated with your registration. Your registration is based on the anticipation of processing, approving, or receiving summer salary.

Please complete the training prior to May 9, 2025, or before entering, approving, or receiving summer salary.

If you feel your registration is in error, please contact your College Research Officer (CRO) or research-training@ncsu.edu for removal of this requirement in Reporter.

If you receive the REPORTER notification and will not be entering, approving, or receiving summer salary during this upcoming summer, please email Holly Lipkovich to request your removal from the course registration.
