Annual Effort Reporting Due September 30

CALS faculty, students, and staff who have worked on a ledger 5 project and/or have been paid on a Capacity Grant (Hatch and Smith-Lever) received a system-generated Annual Effort Report Certification on August 26. The email includes links to a reference guide to assist with the accessing/certifying of the Effort Report. 

For further guidance, please refer to the CALS Effort Report Reference Guide, which includes a CALS-specific Effort Report example and definition/explanations of each section. 

Please note on the Tears Effort Report form:

Section A: This section includes the percentage of your effort allocated to contract and grant projects, from which you were directly paid, during this past fiscal year (survey period). This includes the Federal Capacity Grants used to pay the faculty salary pool (Asst. Dean Business Operations) and ledger 5 projects.

Section B: This section includes ledger 5 projects on which your effort has been cost shared and does not affect your salary distribution.

Section C: This section includes the percentage of your effort allocated to non-contract and grant (non-ledger 5 projects), from which you were directly paid during this past fiscal year (survey period).

The certification period is from July 1, 2024, to June 30, 2025.
