This course is intended for teachers of agricultural and basic science curriculums, such as biology and chemistry. The need for food scientists is great. Introducing students to food science early in life can spark interest and lead to enrollment in a food science major.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Upon completing this workshop, you will be certified to teach the&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.case4learning.org\/curriculum\/food-science-and-safety-fss\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><em>Food Science and Safety<\/em><\/a>&nbsp;course&nbsp;developed by&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.case4learning.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">CASE<\/a> (Curriculum for Agricultural Science Education). You will also receive the entire curriculum, complete with lesson plans, lab activities, PowerPoint presentations, quizzes, answer keys, assessment rubrics, and more.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>What are the learning benefits for my students?<\/strong> The&nbsp;<em>Food Science and Safety<\/em>&nbsp;course is aligned with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.case4learning.org\/curriculum\/curriculum-standards-alignment\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Common Core and Next Generation Science Standards<\/a>.
