Six awards will be made in 2026.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In order to be considered, (1) you must have a research mentor, (2) you must complete the <a href=\"https:\/\/docs.google.com\/forms\/d\/e\/1FAIpQLSeYwUsgC2m1odzDrthKcYrx4v8A-1_kodUCuj3ckMY4cKFoGQ\/viewform\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">following application <\/a>and upload the required documents, and (3) you must be an undergraduate or graduate student with interest in Microbiology and currently enrolled at NC&#160;State.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Research awardees will be notified by April 20, 2026.&nbsp; Research must be conducted on a topic&nbsp;in microbiology during the Summer or Fall semester 2026.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Applications are due April 1, 2026<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/units.cals.ncsu.edu\/microbiology-graduate-program\/homepage\/leo-w-parks-distinguished-lectureship\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Learn more about Leo W.
