Zehta Glover

GRAD-AID for Ag Fellow

Bio

Zehta Glover is a PhD student in Genetics and Genomics at NC State University. She grew up in Florida and earned her B.S. in Cell and Molecular Neuroscience from Florida State University. Even though her degree was in neuroscience, she discovered a passion for plant genetics while working in a maize research lab. Now, her research focuses on understanding cold tolerance in maize through the lens of adaptation and evolution. As a Grad-Aid for Ag Fellow, she’s excited to expand on my passion for sustainable agriculture by developing AI-driven tools that are accessible to farmers and help them make informed decisions to grow stronger, more resilient crops.
