GRAD-AID for Ag Fellow

Bio

Emily Garceau is about to start her third year as a Computer Engineering PhD student in the Integrated Bionic Microsystems (iBionicS) Laboratory led by Dr. Bozkurt. Her work focuses on enhancing signal processing techniques for biomedical and environmental sensor applications. Some of the projects she works on involve developing smart collars for service dogs, wearable patches to detect sleep disorders, and moth traps to allow farmers to monitor moth populations to limit pesticide use. She just obtained my Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering at NC State this past spring and looks forward to getting started with GRAD-AID for Ag later this summer!
