Lei Ding

Bio

Lei Ding earned his Ph.D. in Biology from Pennsylvania State University, University Park. Driven by a passion for developing products that benefit farmers and/or consumers, he had worked in the AgBiotech and Food Biotech industries, with a focus on synthetic biology, metabolic engineering, and genome editing. In his current role at the Genome Editing Center, he is responsible for the design and construction of genome-editing constructs, and for developing and performing assays to detect genome edits across events.
