Anna Nelson serves as Lab Manager of the GEC and is a member of the Plant Transformation Team led by Dr. Kedong Da. Her work focuses on developing virus-resistant rose cultivars through advanced tissue culture and transformation techniques. She earned her M.S. in Horticultural Science in 2023 from the Translational Genomics Lab at North Carolina State University. Since then, she has continued to contribute to diverse plant tissue culture and crop improvement initiatives.
