Garner, the company that produces Texas Pete Hot Sauce, upskilled their employees through collaboration with NC&#160;State University food safety specialists to develop custom training materials. T.W. Garner employees improved their skills and gained practical knowledge by taking custom online food safety courses. They are using these skills in their current jobs to support future professional career advancement. Garner, leveraged NC&#160;State food safety courses to help her get promoted from a sanitation supervisor to quality assurance manager. Now that she is managing her own team of food facility staff, she was quick to enroll her unit in NC&#160;State\u2019s online food safety courses in an effort to promote food safety culture and employee retention.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/r20.rs6.net\/tn.jsp?f=001aPNEQBRvI6i5pcjWXA5zAGT4hPdgdh2TrIjJ4Hyij0HrlDjfggZZ2hgLD_cAjPcgrPZAPF_kTQ24R7aO3EKay1lWv6fxu7tIiGEZMv6l7SqbEIV33qXHK7UpUdn_JXaKIq8A49Q32GbdTM3Z1yW_YP9MgeMix1KfCkaAMJfTpy_BJCwncZNzdAxmJs_RVwGVS0ASzHziE5hEs4b2rhBVyi7Mkr0X62PnUITHasYzzIU5DopWWQk9diyCVg_TwCQw&amp;c=LC4yTEgqmlqMckI2hLXtmCHd7tx83bz2YUQ0FCaXaJjGMnNLJ0yJlA==&amp;ch=E3CvXdnEM8CwrMKhl9rSIikyQRwIftwR4hu3717829rF3vzSgYkn6Q==\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">a recent article from the Association for Talent and Development<\/a>, up to 94% of employees are more likely to be loyal to their company when their employers invest in them. In fact, employees are twice as likely to stay at their company as they approach their third year of employment when they are immersed in learning opportunities. T.W.
