New and novel innovations within our food system are critical for meeting global challenges such as changing climates and food insecurity – as long as they are sustainably developed and consider the needs of various audiences. Complexifying this process is the decline in public trust in the food systems.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Hub for Food Systems Communication and Engagement<\/strong> translates research for the public good and ensures our science effectively meets both the needs of stakeholders and consumers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Inspired by scholars and practitioners devoted to the idea of responsible research and development, the Hub aims to leverage the interdisciplinary activity within NC State and cutting-edge social science and engagement scholarship to improve the social, economic, and environmental sustainability of agri-food innovations.
