Please share the following with your colleagues.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Data &amp; Code Repository<\/strong>: The Libraries\u2019 institutional membership to the<a href=\"https:\/\/www.lib.ncsu.edu\/data-management\/dryad\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"> Dryad<\/a> data repository enables any researcher associated with NC&#160;State University to deposit and publicly share datasets at no cost. Dryad integrates with<a href=\"https:\/\/zenodo.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"> Zenodo<\/a> to support researchers who need to publicly share software and code to comply with publisher, funder, or other requirements. Learn more about other<a href=\"https:\/\/www.lib.ncsu.edu\/do\/data-management\/sharing-data\/data-repositories\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"> data repository options<\/a> that we recommend.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Data Management Plans (DMPs)<\/strong>: If you need help creating a data management or data sharing plan, we offer the<a href=\"https:\/\/www.lib.ncsu.edu\/do\/data-management\/drafting-your-dmp\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"> DMPTool and our DMP Review service<\/a>. For research projects that are already underway, our<a href=\"http:\/\/go.ncsu.edu\/post-award_dmpchecklist\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"> post-award checklist<\/a> can help you implement DMPs to keep data safe and available for sharing and reuse.\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>NIH Policy for Data Management and Sharing (DMSP)<\/strong>: A<a href=\"https:\/\/sharing.nih.gov\/data-management-and-sharing-policy\/planning-and-budgeting-DMS\/writing-a-data-management-and-sharing-plan\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"> new NIH policy<\/a> for data management and sharing will apply to all NIH proposals submitted on or after January 25, 2023.\u00a0 The Libraries can consult on questions regarding these new requirements and review DMSP drafts through our<a href=\"https:\/\/www.lib.ncsu.edu\/do\/data-management\/drafting-your-dmp\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"> DMP Review service<\/a>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Research Data Management advice:<\/strong> Our online guide has advice on all phases of the research data lifecycle including: developing data management plans (DMPs) for grant proposals; best practices for storage, organization, and preservation of data; and tips to optimize sharing and discovery of data. Learn more at:<a href=\"http:\/\/www.lib.ncsu.edu\/do\/data-management\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"> http:\/\/www.lib.ncsu.edu\/do\/data-management<\/a>.\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>ORCID and Biosketch support<\/strong>: SciENcv is the NSF- and NIH-approved system for creating biosketches and will be required in January 2023.
