As shared during the May CALS Finance Forum and with the CALS Research Committee, the CALS C&G Pre-Award Policy has been updated. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
The updated 30 & 10 Policy can be viewed here<\/a>. It can also be accessed from the CALS C&G website<\/a>. The policy updates were made in consultation with NCARS and the Dean and Directors.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n It will have a soft roll-out. The implementation date of the updated CALS Pre-Award Policy is June 8 with the updates going into full effect on July 1, 2026<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n These updates are required to align with the new RED System parameters. The new system necessitates more upfront data entry into the Proposal Development (PD) module to create the proposal, ensuring that internal routing is completed prior to final submission.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Additionally, we are preparing for the upcoming intended transition of submission authority from the college to SPARCS.
