CALS will begin using the RED Proposal Development (PD) module for all new<\/strong> proposals starting May 4<\/strong>. Existing and in-process PINS records will be finished within the PINS system. Additionally, COE is still transitioning fully to RED, so PINS may still be utilized for COE-based proposals.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Interface with the PD module will primarily be handled by CALS Pre-Award Office upon notification by CALS PIs via the new CALS Pre-Award Form for PD. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

CALS Lunch & Learn – Transitioning from PINS to RED PD<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mark your calendars! Attendance is highly encouraged. CALS Pre-Award will be hosting three identical lunch & learn sessions. These sessions are designed to show CALS faculty how the Pre-Award team plans to move from PINS to RED PD since PINS is being phased out. The demo portion of the session will be about 10-15 minutes, followed by a brief Q&A. Each session will cover the same content, so only one session needs to be attended.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
