To clarify, SciENcv is a software\/application that will generate the required agency Common Forms.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Please follow the steps below provided by University Libraries to start the process. Please note that creating an initial ORCID record and connecting it to the Citation Index should take no more than 5 minutes. However, populating the information will take additional time, <em>so please start the process now.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Step 1:<\/strong> Create and link your ORCID ID record to the University Libraries\u2019 <a href=\"https:\/\/ci.lib.ncsu.edu\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Citation Index<\/a>,\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>To get started, visit the <a href=\"https:\/\/ci.lib.ncsu.edu\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Cit<\/a>ation Index and click on the \u201cGet Started\u201d button. You will be asked to log in with your Unity ID and password. You will then be led through the process of associating your ORCID ID with your Unity ID. If you do not already have an ORCID ID,<em> you can register for one as part of the process.<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Step 2: <\/strong>Link ORCID ID with SciENcv using the Libraries\u2019 website\/guides and create the Biosketch and Current &amp; Pending Common Forms:\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Website\/Guide: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.lib.ncsu.edu\/sciencv-for-biosketches\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">https:\/\/www.lib.ncsu.edu\/sciencv-for-biosketches<\/a>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>C&amp;P Guide: <a href=\"https:\/\/docs.google.com\/document\/d\/1u_kfLIiRo1xHYg-QffvzaZuxIsg0s-JDyAsUixsVk1E\/edit?usp=sharing\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">step-by-step instructions<\/a> on creating your Current and Pending using SciENcv.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">University Libraries also offers a <a href=\"https:\/\/ci.lib.ncsu.edu\/user\/cv-service\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">CV service<\/a> where you can send them your CV (or another list of publications).
