{"id":23822,"date":"2025-11-07T08:30:24","date_gmt":"2025-11-07T13:30:24","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/units.cals.ncsu.edu\/business-operations\/?p=23822"},"modified":"2025-11-11T08:42:28","modified_gmt":"2025-11-11T13:42:28","slug":"visa-sponsorship-payment-process-for-international-employees","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/units.cals.ncsu.edu\/core-support\/news\/visa-sponsorship-payment-process-for-international-employees\/","title":{"rendered":"Visa Sponsorship Payment Process for International Employees"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Effective October 29, 2025, U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) will <a href=\"https:\/\/www.uscis.gov\/newsroom\/news-releases\/uscis-to-modernize-fee-payments-with-electronic-funds\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">no longer accept check payments<\/a> for visa filing fees.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>All payments must be made via credit card using <a href=\"https:\/\/www.uscis.gov\/g-1450\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">USCIS Form G-1450, Authorization for Credit Card Transactions<\/a>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The Office of International Employment (OIE) has established a secure upload process in OnBase for departmental units.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Only the PCard holder can initiate uploads and must have the appropriate OnBase SAR security role.\u00a0\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Access Update:&nbsp;<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The Business Service Coordinator or HR Departmental Contact for each department\/unit with a PCard has been granted the SAR OnBase role.
