To process a payment to another department, an Interdepartmental Transfer (IDT) is needed. The department offering the product (Billing Department) should initiate the IDT to the department requesting the product (Customer). If you need to submit an IDT request, it must be entered through&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/ncsu.service-now.com\/cboportal\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">ServiceNow<\/a>.<br><br>The only exception is for Campus Enterprises. You may use your PCard to purchase products at these&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/campusenterprises.ncsu.edu\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Campus Enterprise<\/a>&nbsp;Departments only:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>NCSU Dining Halls<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>WolfPack Outfitters<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Wolf Xpress Print + Copy<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>NC&#160;State Student Centers<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Rave! Catering<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>WolfPack One Card<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Lonnie Poole Golf Course<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Please refer to the&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/docs.google.com\/document\/d\/1LxVHX3k7qSTtmHOSqnfvb6s-WcXQ6F9NuG6RvhezgoU\/edit\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">PCard Cardholder Manual<\/a>&nbsp;for details<br><br>Here are a few examples from the manual:<br><br><strong>Non-Allowable Purchases<\/strong><br><br>PCards&nbsp;<strong>CANNOT<\/strong>&nbsp;be used for the following:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Personal meals. (Per diem meals are&nbsp;<strong>NEVER<\/strong>&nbsp;allowed.)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Payments to individuals (including grant-writing, honorariums, etc).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Hotel incidental charges such as movies, bottled water, room service and laundry.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Fuel for a personal vehicle.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Additional insurance on rental vehicles in the U.S.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Goods or services for&nbsp;<strong>personal use<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Payments to other NC&#160;State University departments (with the exception of Campus Enterprises businesses).&nbsp;<em><strong>This includes Howling Cow.<\/strong><\/em>&nbsp;Use an interdepartmental transfer (IDT) or service unit billing (SUB) for these purchases.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Parking Infractions: The individual driver is responsible for how and where they park regardless of who owns the vehicle. Refer to the&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/controller.ofa.ncsu.edu\/accounts-payable\/travel-center\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">policy<\/a>&nbsp;under the Controller\u2019s Travel Center.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Additional merchant category restrictions as described in the manual.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If you are a CALS department and need to initiate an IDT, please submit your request through&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/ncsu.service-now.com\/cboportal\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">ServiceNow<\/a>, and use the Billing Requests (IDB\/IDS) form.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>PCards should not be used to pay NCSU entities&nbsp;(this includes&nbsp;Howling Cow,&nbsp;CALS Estore or CALS or NCSU Eventbrite).
