Visa Sponsorship Payment Process for International Employees
Effective October 29, 2025, U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) will no longer accept check payments for visa filing fees.
- All payments must be made via credit card using USCIS Form G-1450, Authorization for Credit Card Transactions.
- The Office of International Employment (OIE) has established a secure upload process in OnBase for departmental units.
- Only the PCard holder can initiate uploads and must have the appropriate OnBase SAR security role.
Access Update:
- The Business Service Coordinator or HR Departmental Contact for each department/unit with a PCard has been granted the SAR OnBase role. A notification email was sent from the CBO to both the Business Service Coordinator and HR Departmental Representative on November 4, 2025.
- If your department needs to process a credit card payment for an international employee’s visa fee, please contact your Business Service Coordinator or HR Departmental Representative for assistance.
