NCFIL brings together the latest in food processing equipment, expert food scientists and partners from across the state to help food companies and entrepreneurs get their products to market quickly and effectively.<\/p>\n

Agricultural and Human Sciences Commercial Kitchen \u2013 $1.4M<\/h2>

With the support of generous donors<\/a> and our faculty and staff, the Department of Agricultural and Human Sciences designed the Dinah E. Gore Teaching and Research Kitchens, a state-of-the-art kitchen complex that will enhance and extend our work in teaching, research and extension.<\/p>\n

Visitors to the Lake Wheeler farm Howling Cow Dairy Education Center and Creamery, can enjoy an ice cream sundae while watching video feeds of the plant in operation, or discovering the many facets of North Carolina\u2019s dairy industry on interactive video exhibits.<\/p>\n
