The guidelines for contract review include:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Select a contract template from the <a href=\"https:\/\/generalcounsel.ncsu.edu\/legal-resources\/contracts-library\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Standard University Agreements<\/a> if applicable.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Complete and submit a <a href=\"https:\/\/esmsolutions.agiloft.com\/gui2\/samlssologin.jsp?project=NC+State&amp;console=0&amp;state=main&amp;gui=enduser&amp;euiurl=\/eui2template\/main.php\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Contract Review Form.<\/a><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Participate in the negotiation process, if necessary:\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The submitted contract and supporting information are reviewed for standard legal terms and conditions.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Negotiations may be required between the University department, the contractor, Contract Review Services and Office of General Counsel.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>All necessary modifications are made to the contract.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The department will receive an email notification when their contract is fully signed. The signed agreement can be found in the contract system under the Documents tab as a part of that contract record.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Administer and monitor the contract throughout its terms.
